OEC for Filipino teachers

Eligibility – All Filipino citizens working abroad must secure an OEC from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA/DMW) before leaving the country. This applies to teachers departing the Philippines for employment in Vietnam.
Purpose – The OEC serves as proof that the worker has been properly documented, is protected under Philippine labor laws, and is allowed to depart for overseas employment.
Validity – Each OEC is valid for a single exit from the Philippines and must be secured for every departure, unless the worker qualifies for an exemption or multiple-exit OEC.
